Meet Our Founder
Mariatu Kargbo, the founder of Global Health Institute, is an entrepreneur and educator passionate about creating opportunities for lifelong learners. She holds degrees from George Mason University in marketing, nursing, and family practice nursing.
As a registered nurse with extensive clinical experience in medical-surgical and ICU settings, and as a practicing family nurse practitioner, Ms. Kargbo brings a wealth of knowledge to her role. Committed to lifelong learning, she furthered her education by earning a law degree from Concord Law School, which has enriched her leadership in healthcare education.
Mariatu founded Global Health Institute with one mission: to reduce barriers to nursing education for the average individual. Her passion for teaching is reflected in the supportive and engaging learning environment she fosters.
